2021 Kambalda Engineering & Geology Symposium
The Kambalda Engineering & Geology Symposium is a great opportunity for mining engineers and geologists to showcase an exciting project or share something new and/or interesting at their mine site!
This inaugural event aims to bring together engineers and geologists working on mines around the region to listen and learn, and develop their professional skills.
This symposium attracts a significant number of underground and open pit engineers and geologists from around the region. It allows us as an industry to share tips, techniques and local knowledge in a collegiate environment, with plenty of time to catch-up with old friends.
The event is seen as a safe event for young engineers and geologists to stand up and practise public speaking in front of their peers, or for more experienced engineers or geologists to talk about something new and/or interesting. This event is very focused on the presenters and serves as a great forum to share ideas.
There is no requirement to produce a written paper and presentations are not shared after the event without permission.
